Pellet Stoves

Pellet stoves provide consumers with a convenient, clean burning, efficient heating solution. They burn pellet fuel which is comprised of wood by-products and sawdust from lumber mills. The material is dried, compressed and formed into small 1/4" diameter cylinders. They are then packaged in 40 pound, water-proof bags for easy handling and storage. Some models of pellet stoves offer automatic operation from a wall thermostat while others use stove-mounted controls. Many have large hoppers for longer burn times - up to 40 hours! Pellet stoves require electricity to operate. As a result, many stove manufacturers offer battery back-up options in case of power failure. Pellet appliances can be installed virtually anywhere in your home due to their minimum clearance requirements and venting capabilities.
